Great White Egrets can be found wading in shallow water, both fresh and salt. White herons are smaller than the Great Blue Heron, and larger than the Snowy Egret. This bird is distinguishable by their all white feathers, black legs and yellow/orange bills. Their habitat consists of stick nests built high in trees away from predators.
